If you don’t know Windrush Farm already; welcome! We are a non-profit, working horse farm that has been successfully helping children and adults with physical, emotional, and learning disabilities since 1964.

We are located on 35 acres of woods and fields in North Andover and Boxford, Massachusetts, and are surrounded by 160 acres of conservation land.

We offer equine assisted activities founded on the principle that all of us, disabled or not, are capable of more than we think.

This blog has been established to bring a sense of community to our volunteers, as well as provide more information about therapeutic riding and hippotherapy, clientele disabilities, and horses in general.

We hope these posts and pages are helpful to you, and if you have any other questions, please don’t hesitate to leave a comment, or email us at volunteer@windrushfarm.org
